Claudia Gestro tribute music video
Jamiel, ieko media's cinematographer and owner, visited California for ASC Master Class. During that time a facebook friend he had never met, noticed he would be in LA and reached out.
Claudia was looking for someone to shoot a tribute music video. She's not a performer so this was all new and created solely for her family. Jamiel wanted to spend more time on production studio lots so he extended his time and in doing so decided to use one of the days to film her music video.
This was shot and edited by Jamiel using a single camera and a monopod.
Filming time was about 6 hours at various locations.
Claudia is a sports reporter by profession.

When we filmed this music video, Jamiel had one morning to get to know Claudia to understand her comfort level, figure out who she is, her likes, and translate that into the production.
No breaks were taken and some people out in the observatory thought they looked funny, but it was a great experience.
At Ieko Media, be it large or small projects, we strive to be in the moment by learning how to be efficient, and how to improve the process should it happen again.
This project is added to features because not every project will be meant for primetime. This music video was a personal project from Claudia to her family.
