For our company trip we traveled to China, Cambodia, and South Korea. During the Cambodia leg of the trip we were able to get a few photos and videos captured. Enjoy!
Pat is from Cambodia and it was a humbling feeling to be in a place that she had never truly been having left to the US from Thailand when she was 4 as a refugee and becoming a US citizen January 2019. It was a tearful experience that she didn’t know she needed as we explored much of the area from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap.
For Jamiel it was a look into possible business opportunities from growing the company in Phnom Penh, offering tech jobs, and getting to know the people. It was a magical experience to see the culture, the traditions, and to know that if we were to hire, we could keep these traditions going within the company. It was amazing and I believe we can make it happen when the time is right.
China was not too hard on us. We almost had to throw away our Film batteries but were able to get a pass. We were also given fake money when we purchased snacks, luckily we were able to use credit card in other places.
South Korea was the most traveling by train we conducted and for this measure, most of China and South Korea was filmed with our cell phone. I didnt add any cell footage to the video, maybe it can be for future video shown at home.
