This short film is a simple tribute to those that fought and served during WW2. Not everyone held a gun, so this tribute is dedicated to everyone that played a part. As a veteran owned business, these types of visuals always hit home so we hope they land the same way for you!
About the workflow -
the 2k BMCC was by far one of the hardest cameras to use because of its bad color and body shape. We were able to work with it since its RAW capabilities allowed for post-production changes. Actually, there was so much postproduction from camera stabilize since it performed horrible on the Steadicam, color correction in NukeX and how it filmed in sequence frames DNG. This was quite the headache, but the test makes it that much easier to choose the RED Camera system since it was single editable file with its own dedicated color program and much easier to track and stabilize with a 5k film size.
