Welcome to features. While we are not able to post our large scale, proprietary software, or client private request projects, over the years we have worked on projects that typically give us the ability to post. These feature projects range from special requests with limited production requirements, travel, rapid timeframes, and smaller budgets. Enjoy!
Jamiel, ieko media's cinematographer and owner, visited California for ASC Master Class. During that time a facebook friend he had never met, noticed he would be in LA and reached out. Claudia was looking for someone to shoot a tribute music video. She's not a performer so this was all new and created solely for her family. Jamiel wanted to spend more time on production studio lots so he extended his time and in doing so decided to use one of the days to film her music video. This was shot and edited by Jamiel using a single camera and a monopod. Filming time was about 6 hours at various locations.

This memory project was probably our most enjoyable but also very strict. Camille and Petra are dedicated clients who have become great friends. We had the idea to not only film them together but film their messages to each other apart. That message was then edited and delivered to them 4 YEARS LATER!!! Read more!
Before we settled on the RED Cinema camera worflow, we tested a few other camera models. One was the 2k Black Magic camera.
We filmed this test shoot with a friend and for us, its still timeless. Enjoy!
